Make a difference to other young people in our city - Apply today to join Wolverhampton's B-Safe Team

Are you aged between 13-16 and want to make a change to the lives of other young people and your community?

Are you willing to give one evening per month to help tackle issues around safeguarding - including the prevention of bullying, abuse, and internet safety issues - and make decisions with other likeminded young people?

If so, then please consider becoming a part of Wolverhampton's Junior Safeguarding Team, The B-Safe Team.

We are recruiting young people to lead local campaigns, make key decisions alongside safeguarding professionals in Wolverhampton Safeguarding Board, and influence change in the city.

What you will gain from membership:

  • Work and volunteering experience. Fantastic to put on that future application for a job, apprenticeship or college / university place!

  • Accreditation. Certificates and awards to include as part of your CV.

  • Meet new young people from around Wolverhampton

  • Voice your opinions and make real decisions that have a real impact on the lives of young people in our city

  • New experiences, including trips to events and conferences around the country

  • Residential experiences for team building and workshops

All we ask of you is that you bring your ideas, commitment, and desire to make a difference to B-Safe.

The B-Safe team meet once a month on a Tuesday evening at Stanford House in Shaw Rd, Wolverhampton. Membership of the B-Safe team includes free transport to and from all meetings, if required. Food and refreshments are provided.
