HeadStart share advice and support with St. George's Day crowds in Bilston

During the St.George's Day celebrations in Bilston on April 21st, HeadStart set up a stand for young people to come and express themselves through arts and crafts. Nicola Holmes, HeadStart Community Engagement Co-ordinator for Bilston East, also supported young people and parents in finding out about what HeadStart do as a programme, and the services available to them. She shared information and advice about our Parent Champions scheme, and about school and community programmes to support emotional and mental wellbeing in young people.

The celebrations also included lots of activities for the community: fairgrounds, brass band music and much more ... and the weather was fantastic!
