Book your free place for Adult HEROs courses now, and learn how to support the well-being of the young people in your life!

HeadStart is delighted to announce that free Adult HEROs courses are now available for parents and carers in four areas of the city:

  • Low Hill, Scotlands and Bushbury South
  • Heath Town, Park Village, Eastfield, Springfield and Old Heath
  • Bilston East
  • All Saints, Blakenhall, Parkfields and Ettingshall

The Adult HEROs course is being led by HeadStart partner Wider Learning, and is for two hours per week over six sessions either side of the school Easter holidays.

The course will introduce parents and carers to practical advice on topics including:

  • Developing emotional resilience and mental well-being in young people and adults

  • Online safety and resilience

  • Developing positive behaviour

The sessions will also provide the opportunity to meet and discuss emotional well-being issues with other parents and carers, and to find out about other opportunities and support available in the city through HeadStart and other agencies.
