Don't miss out! HeadStart programmes for the Summer Half-Term holidays and beyond

A reminder to young people, parents and carers around the city that the programmes commissioned by HeadStart in our four target areas will continue to be in full flow for the school half-term week next week!

If you're a young person aged 10-16 years or a parent or carer living in one of the following areas of Wolverhampton:

  • Low Hill, Scotlands and Bushbury South
  • Heath Town, Park Village, Eastfield, Springfield and Old Heath
  • Bilston East
  • All Saints, Blakenhall, Parkfields and Ettingshall

... then please check the programmes below! We'd love to see you at the sessions, building better relationships, learning new skills, and improving your own emotional wellbeing and that of the people you care for.


Low Hill, Scotlands and Bushbury South

The programme from the consortium of local organisations operating from Big Venture, Low Hill, and Park Village, is as follows, with a wonderful range of activities for young people and families, including arts and crafts, cooking, gaming, dance, martial arts, mentoring and language learning. This programme continues after half-term too, so get involved!

The programme of activities lead by Black Country YMCA, and running from Eastfield Community Centre, Park Village Education Centre, and Holy Trinity Church Hall continues!

'The Superpower within' is a fantastic play created by Gazebo Theatre to promote resilience and well-being in young people.
